Artist's Description
Ihasa is our beautiful and sweet Akita male; our family adopted him. Drawing pets are a favorite subject for me as well as pencil as a medium. As yet, I had not created any art with this handsome boy, so I chose to draw Ihasa for an upcoming show, which was the San Fernando Valley Art Club 2012 Spring Juried Show where I am on the board.
About Joette Snyder
An artist inspired by nature, wildlife is my favorite subject to paint and draw, dedicated to capture the beauty of animals. I love action with my subjects, horses running with wind in their manes or big cats on the prowl and lots of expression. Exploring drawing on different papers has added new dimensions, always a quest for artist as myself. I have had a love affair with animals since a small child, walking my neighbor’s dogs and walking to the Sunset stables as horses have always been close to my heart. ...
