Description
These Llamas are the first exotic pet portraits; it was a collection of four different photos given to me to create this exotic pet portrait. Exotic pets gave me a new adventure in pet portraits and receiving the Best In Show Award for "What's up", wow, my first Best In Show! The show is ended Dec. 12th 2010 it was the fall show for The San Fernando Valley Art Club Juried Art Show for members, we have two a year. Llamas, are so inquisitive and fun to capture, that is how I came up with the name What's Up.My friend in Iowa has Llamas, here are four of them. They are so inquisitive and fun to capture that.

Thanks for visiting my gallery and commenting on my work. Your animal paintings and drawings are fabulous....so realistic and well designed. This one caught my attention immediately. I've always thought Llamas were the coolest animals, and you have certainly captured their beautiful faces. The play of lights and darks shows much sofistication in your painting.....Great work....!

Hi, thank you, my friend was so happy with this painting she owns them. I had no idea horses were scared of the Llamas but it makes sense. Take care.

Wonderful, appealing painting! People pack into our mountains with llamas and some of our local weavers keep them for their wool. Any of our horses that haven't seen them before totally freak out at the first sighting -- my big foxtrotter Paycheck almost ran over my husband in his panic to get away from the "monsters!" Llamas are such characters, and you've done a great job capturing their individual personalities!
